As a Turkish person, I’m so happy to see this post, love it! All your choices are spot on 👌🏼

We have so many different cuisines in Turkey. As locals, we go to Karadeniz (Trabzon & Rize) for Karadeniz food and usually stay around Uzungöl. We also go to Güneydoğu Anadolu (Mardin, Gazi Antep, Şanlı Urfa, Kahramanmaraş) for kebaps and many other dishes, ice cream and baklava.

If you ever eat baklava in Gazi Antep, you’ll never forget it! I highly recommend visiting less touristic cities too, like the ones I’ve mentioned above.

Yes! I'm in Antalya now and a friend treated me to my first Börek last week! Also been indulging in my favorite - Turkish breakfast. 😋
