Oh, Essaouira. Such a special place. We also spent three days there. My husband loved surfing there, we loved exploring the medina and our riad, Chems Bleu, was fantastic (great rooftop indeed). The shopping is out of this world. The hippie vibes permeate the place - there is a certain magic to it. I also really recommend the restaurant Tagna8 which has amazing local food (even as vegans we had some great meals there) and there is live gnaoua music every night.
I loved this! You made me want to go there.
Thank you! Which version of Essaouira appeals the most to you?
Always the quieter one :)
Oh myyyy, I've not been to Morocco yet and it's so high on my bucket list! I'll have to add Essaoira to the itinerary!
You totally should! I'm sure you'll love it!

I love this! Sounds like a fantastic trip and I'm glad you got to experience the true spirit of Essaouira with its art, food and slow living.
Yeah, Essaouira sounds like a place that I’d want to go
